FAQ's
Why did we move to TroopTrack?
Troop 395 moved to TroopTrack because we wanted to have a more streamlined system to track data, and we wanted to have all of our data in one place.
Do Scouts need to have an e-mail address to access TroopTrack?
Though it is recommended, Scouts do not have to have their own e-mail address to access TroopTrack. A log-in invitation can be obtained by e-mailing webmasters@trooptrack.com from a parent's e-mail. The log-in invitation will be sent to the requestor's e-mail address, and the Scout [without the e-mail address] can use this information to activate his account. Please note: Parents should not list their e-mail in lieu of the Scout's e-mail address in the Scout's persona.
Will parents receive all the e-mails that their Scouts will?
Yes. At present, e-mails sent to Scout members are also being sent to other adult members of the Scout's household (as designated in the TroopTrack system).
Do all Scouts and parents need to log-in to their account?
All Scouts and parents should log-in to their account to RSVP for outings, to check progress toward rank advancement, etc.
What is the proper way to send an e-mail through TroopTrack?
Why does it show that I don't have Youth Protection Training, etc. but I do?
We are not currently tracking some items officially. You are welcome to proof to me, and I am happy to put it in, but we probably aren't officially tracking it. Same goes for PoR history. However, if it is a Rank or Merit Badge you are missing, please contact Beth Hardison immediately!
